PATCHWORK CHEQUERED LINEN CUSHION

Our hand made Patchwork checquered linen cushion in collaboration with Cutting Floor Cushions of London is a modern take on the patchwork cushion process. Each square is painstakingly cut and sewn together by hand, a labour intensive task reminiscent of early patchwork quilts which were put together from small leftover pieces of fabric, patchwork actually has a history spanning back over 5,000 years. Pictured here in the combination of ivory and natural linen.

Cushions available in 4 colours; ivory, natural, black and muscovado which can be made to any combination preference.

Co-ordinating plain cushion also available to order.

The fabrics used for our cushions are incredible eco-friendly, made from 100% linen Oeko-Tex certified and GOTS certified dyes ( Read more about GOTS certification here)  And also includes a Cutting Floor Cushions inner, these are generously filled with pre-consumer textile offcuts, otherwise discarded by fashion and interior manufacturers. These fabrics are re-pulled into their fibrous form to create a comfortable and eco-conscious cushion pad. Each is handmade-to-order in the UK and encased in cotton calico.
